ANDRÉ TORRE
Keynote speaker André Torre is a Professor of Economics at the University Paris-Saclay, INRAE, AgroParistech. He was the President of ERSA (European Regional Science Association) during the 2019-2023 period.

His research was at the crossroads of spatial and industrial economics for a long time. It has now become more multi-disciplinary and increasingly focused on questions related to proximity relations and their importance in territorial development processes. It centres on three main areas: local interactions between innovative firms and organisations, land use, urban-rural and political conflicts, and local dimensions of the circular economy.

André Torre has published several articles and 25 books, mainly on issues related to spatial coordination between people or groups of people.

Giovanni Schiuma is a Full Professor of "Knowledge and Innovation Management" and the Director of Engineering at LUM University, Italy. A former Professor at the University of the Arts London and Director of their Innovation Insights Hub, he now leads as the Chief Editor for 'Measuring Business Excellence' and chairs the IFKAD international conference.

Recognised globally as an authority on knowledge-centric organisational development and transformation, Giovanni's insights into arts-driven innovation and the integration of arts in business are sought after professor has held visiting academic positions at prominent universities across Europe. Renowned for his global perspective and scholarly contributions, including over 200 publications, he excels in spearheading complex projects and pioneering strategic solutions at the nexus of knowledge, innovation, and the arts.
